Describe your DJ style?
We focus on Old and New R&B/Hip Hop, Disco, House, Pop, Funk, and Reggae. We remain with today's top billboard chart hits of every category of genre available. We rather play what you want to here so your quest are satisfied.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
There is no limit in our attempts to satisfy your needs. There are times were a request may not be suitable for the present party atmosphere. We appreciate every request made in advance.
What is your usual attire?
We dress to impress at all times. Our ideal entertainment is to be a part of the excitement. Whether you request a specific dress code or not, we dress professionally. If a tuxedo or other attire would be more appropriate for your event, simply let us know your preference.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No. We have the ability to acquire any type of music you request. Our DJ’s are apart of mass record pools and monthly updates their library. We have access to major databases at any given time.
How many other DJs do you work with?
There are currently 3 DJ’s available. We share the same common interest in music satisfaction and coordinate our selection to our clients taste. The advantage of having DJ’s of like-minded interest is to perfect each others ability to satisfy our clients.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
We do not have a set minimum time for DJ’ing. We do acquire upon negotiations that the our agreement is honored in good faith.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes. We believe in a face to face appointment. Getting acquainted with our client is an utmost importance for a successful venue. We understand the need to be reachable at any time and will take special interest in your opinion before, during and after your venue.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Absolutely. We do understand the nature of certain music can be offensive and take every precaution not to offend your quest.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. We are very capable of providing the right equipment for the type of venue requested. Our DJ’s keep very current with todays ever changing technology and will provide the best professional equipment available for successfully rock your venue. We proudly use famous brands such a Rane, Pioneer, Numark, QSC, Alto, etc. Wireless microphones are always provided, and wireless remote speakers are available if necessitated by the venue.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Intelligent Lighting will add that extra exciting visual dimension to your party., setting your party to the next level with a high energy light show that will electrify your dance floor with colorful sophisticated effects. We’ve found that Lighting is an integral part of setting the mood for an event. Whether outdoor or indoor, we seek to make your venue shine bright with fun and excitement.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes. But we do not over do the party. We believe the enjoyment is a balance of intense excitement through music.
What do you do to motivate the crowd if nobody is dancing?
Song selection is the best way to ensure dance floor success. It’s beneficial to have a general plan for the music in consultation with our clients prior to the event. Knowing what the audience will appreciate in advance goes a long way. Also, being able to read the crowd and change direction at a moment’s notice is critical. Our experience will get people to relax and have a good time.
Are you insured?
S3 Entertainment carries a full liability insurance policy with a coverage value of $1,000,000. We are happy to provide you or your venue with a copy of our insurance policy upon request.
Can we visit you at a performance?
We’re sure that you wouldn’t appreciate the DJ inviting prospective clients to your event to see him in action. A professional DJ should be willing to take a stand for his clients’ privacy and not offer this as a possibility.
Do you take any breaks?
The major advantage to using a DJ instead of a band is that a DJ does not need to take breaks, outside of using the restroom and possibly eating a meal quickly in another room. We assure you that there will be no break in the music at any point during your event.
